Ballet

Susan has been a Registered Teaching Member of the Royal Academy of Dancing since 1990 and has been teaching Ballet since 1984. Former owner of Woodstock Dance Academy, she has taught many children, several different disciplines such as Jazz, Lyrical, Tap and Acro. The students have successfully entered exams, competitions and ballet schools across Canada. The combined knowledge of Ballet and Pilates has brought an even greater understanding of the mechanics of the body and how to make it run like a well oiled machine. Core awareness and strength are key and are applied to both disciplines.

Susan currently teaches Ballet for two local studio's as well as offering Intermediate Foundations, Intermediate, Advanced Foundations and Advanced 1 Ballet classes in her home studio. Classes are available to children ages 4 and up as well as adult classes in both the Grades Syllabus and Majors Syllabus. Exams are offered twice yearly. A year end demonstration is held so that the students can demonstrate what they have achieved that year.
